Everyone knows of the famous underwater game, Subnautica. The game was something new in terms of open-world games genre. Some call it ‘ Minecraft underwater’ because of possible creativeness upon the game. Now the great game has a stand-alone expansion pack, Subnautica: Below Zero
It took more than 4 years for the game to be fully released. It became available for early access in 2014 and was fully accessible by the end of 2018. There’s also one thing annoying about the release of this game.
The original game and the expansion packs as well, they are all released for Windows first, then to the consoles in time. So we may say that only Windows users could get early access to the game.
As you know, players have to survive on an alien planet, rather they have to survive underwater by collecting some elements, running from creatures and building habitats for themselves. We don’t know what Subnautica: Below Zero will bring new about the game but we’re sure that gameplay will not change that much.
As we all know, Subnautica has 4 game difficulty modes:
- Survival: Oxygen needed, some items lost by death
- Freedom mode: No hunger, no thirst
- Hardcore mode: Like most of the games, players can not respawn after death
- Creative Mode: No resources, oxygen , etc needed to survive and craft
The four difficulty modes will also be available for Subnautica: Below Zero expansion pack. The players have to adapt the day and night circle that affects visibility.
There are so many frequently asked questions about Subnautica: Below Zero.
- When will it be fully released?
- When will it be available for Ps4?
The answers to these questions are kinda the same. Subnautica officials make them be accessible in early first but for windows only. Subnautica: Below Zero had early access on January 30, 2019, for windows. Unfortunately, it’s unknown that when it will be available for Ps4. Please stick to the post for further news about the release of the standalone pack.
